-- Flight Instruction --
Our club is VERY interested that newcomers enjoy our hobby and our club to the fullest.  To that end, we've put together a great flight instruction program that will "teach you the ropes" and get you into the air fast.  Every Wednesday night from about 5:00 PM until sunset, students have priority, and get special attention.  Bring your plane to the field, and instructors will check it out and get it airworthy.  After it passes muster, an instructor can then plug in a "buddy box" trainer system to your plane's radio which allows the instructor to control the plane during take off, and then press a button to give YOU control flying the plane.  If you get into trouble, the instructor releases the button, taking back control of the plane to get things straightened out, then gives control back to you.  After 10 to 15 minutes, fuel is low and the instructor lands the plane.  After several sessions, you'll start practicing takeoffs and landings, looking toward the day when you "solo", making an entire flight on your own!
